岡山県児島地域のジーンズ工場から出た天然藍染めの残糸を再利用し、ノッティングという技法を用いてすべて手織りで作られています。

残糸にさらに藍を重ね、色彩の濃淡を活かして、瀬戸内海の穏やかな波を表現したデザインに仕上げました。藍は染め重ねるほどに美しく深みを増します。手仕事で染めるため、一点一点表情が異なるのも魅力のひとつ。

天然素材である綿を使用しているので、吸湿性に優れ、肌触りもさらさらです。青に独特の深みがあり、洋風から和風の部屋にも自然になじみます。オフィス用の椅子にも合わせやすく、堅牢な織りでしっかりとした作りのため、長い期間ご使用いただけます。

普段のお手入れはホコリを払うだけでOK。
汚れが気になったら手洗いも可能です。

Indigo dyed chair rug SETO collection
Sazanami -wave-
We have implemented zero waste methods in our craft production while creating original designs to meet the demands of contemporary interior design. The leftover yarns generated in the process of producing indigo-dyed jeans fabric are used in our product design. The darker fabric parts are repeatedly dyed with indigo by SAOL producing a deeper indigo color each time. The design draws inspiration from the beautiful scene of the Seto Inland Sea through abstract expression. The "Seto" collection is produced with the charm of beautiful Japanese colors and with the prayer that people all over the world can spend their days as calmly and peacefully as the surface of the Seto Sea.
